HOP'S WWII exhibit to be dedicated Ceremony to take place at noon on M emorial D a y By BILL FRANCIS Sports Editor COOPERSTOWN - The village of Cdopisnstown mil be receiving nation al remgnition on Memorial.Day thanks to the elfmis o f the National Baseball Hall o f FOme and Museum. Cooperstown usually celebrates the last Monday in h^y with its annual Memory Day Parade, in memory o f the drad servicemen of ail wars, but this year the Hall of Fame will also be dedicating a new V/orld War R exhibit “Baseball Enlists,” is ah exhibit commemorating the 50th anniver sary of the end of W W . Created by the Hall of Fame, it will be dedi cated in a ceremony at noon-on Memwial Day, May 29. The exhibit which will run dtrough 1996 in the temporary exhibits room on the first flora' of the FetzeT'Yawkey Building, will include seven videos, artifacts, text and hundreds of photographs and graphics.
