Matteson of New Berlin, a junior at the State University College at Oneonta, has been chosen to receive one of five scholarships presented in 1995 by the northeast section of the American Institute of Professional Geologists Academic excellence, profession al potential and a solid record uf accomplishments are the cnicna for the S500 scholarship. Matteson, a graduate of New Berlin Genual School, is a geology major who plans to pursue a career combining aspects of geology am! astronomy.
