Eric Forsmem of Hudson Val ley Community college came home Thursday to spend the Christmas holidays and his semester recess with his family. Kenneth Holden came home Thursday from the Veterans Administration hospital in Al bany, where he had been a surgical patient. Miss Susan Filupeit of Hart- wick spent Friday night with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Barnes. Barry Holden came home Fri day from Oneonta State Uni versity college to spend Christ mas and a month’s vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Holden. Nelson Delameter Jr. came home Friday night from Alfred State University Tech college to spend the Christmas holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Delameter Sr. Mrs. Helen Forsman went to Saratoga Springs last Thursday to visit her son and daughter- iH-law, Mr. and Mrs. Neal Forsman, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Forsman’s son, Scott, was a patient in the Saratoga Springs hospital. Sundowners Party The Sundowners Drum and Bugle corps held a Christmas party at the Arkville fire hall Sunday afternoon. Gifts were exchanged and refreshments served. Shavertown By Leland Titch Shavertown, Dec. 27 The Randazzo family cam e up from Newburgh Saturday to assess the dam age, if any. They could not g et up the hill into Delaware county with heavy chains on because of thick, h eavy ice. At one time, Friday afternoon cars dared not venture through the torrent of deep swift w a ter coming off the bank just by the Bruce Winner place.
