S e n i o r s C itiz e n s H a d F irs t H o lid a y P a r t y Roxbury, Dec. 27—The newly organized Senior Citi zen’s club held its first Christmas party last week Tuesday evening. Nineteen were present out of a mem bership of 28, despite the fact that it was an unusually cold night with deep snow and poor road conditions. A bountiful covered dish supper was served buffet style. The committee was Grace S. Preston, Mrs. Ethel Hinkley and Mrs. Lillian Aikman. After supper, gifts were distributed from a decorated Christmas tree in a novel way. Everyone chose a gift a^d unwrapped it by num bers. The next chooser could either take a wrapped gift or claim the one already un wrapped by No. 1. Glee and frustration were equally mingled. Christmas carols were sung. Later card games were played. ’The committee for next meeting is Mrs. Helen Friend, Mrs. Mildred Shultis and Irma M. Griffin. A com mittee was chosen to plan program s. Mrs. Frances Gorsch, George Tait, Mrs. Helen Friend and Raymond F. Cronk, are members. M r s .
