His son- in-law, William Norton of Al bany, brought hkn home. Mrs. Dominic Michel is mak ing a recovery from surgery at the Cooperstown hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gil- bride, daughter, Margaret Ann, and niece, Miss Jean Marino, of Inwoo^ L. I., spent the weekend at the Gilbride’s new home, which they are purchas ing of Eric Wedemeyer on the West Settlement road. Robert Bouton of Pearl River spent last week with his grand mother, Mrs. James M. Bouton, and spent a day with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bouton, at Gansevoort, return ing Friday night. There were two baptisms of baby girls at the United Meth odist church Sunday morning. Onda Ann Jeans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jeans, and Christine Morse Wilson, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson of East Meredith, were baptized by Rev. Clemen F. Brown, the pastor. Edward Elflein of New York city spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Elflein,* in Roxbury. He broke his right arm while skiing at Hunter on Saturday and has it in a sling. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson and daughters, Pamela and Christine, of East Meredith spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison C. Morse. Mrs. Walter Brooks spent the weekend with her sister,, Mrs. Bradford Spier, at Rensselaer. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Conine of Andes and Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam Valk of Kelly Comers were Thursday guests of Mrs. Malvina Stahl. Mrs. Nettie Lawrence, Mrs. Ora Sherwood and Mrs. Her bert Raeder of Denver were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eber Cartwright. Mr. and Mrs. Genell Wuehler of Palisades Park, N. Hewitt for the season, spent the week end there. They came for ski ing, but found none. Mrs. Irving H Tyler under went surgery last week at Mar- garetville Memorial hospital and will be there about 10 days. Her daughter, Mrs. James Mitchell and daughter, Barbara, of Elbridge have been here all week. Mrs. Joseph Kuhi of Fayetteville, Gilbert Tyler of Marcellus and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Anderson of Fonda have spent a few days here and have visited her. Wayne Grant underwent an appendectomy at the Stamford hospital, which he entered Thursday. * Mr. and Mrs. Mark Osborne and son, Joshua, of Graniteville, Mass., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Heyler. Mr. and Mrs. John Dugan have a new grandson. A son, Allen Michael, was bora to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Keith of Grand Gorge at the Stamford hospital on Jan. 5. Mrs. Keith is the former Patricia Dugan. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Beucler of Woodcliff Lake, N. J., were guests last weekend of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. William Friend. Clinton Sparling of Bingham ton spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Stella Baker. Wanda D'Orta celelwated her 13th birthday pn Jan. 13. She bad a few friends at her home for ice cream and cake. J. Harold Kelly and James P. Fusscas visited Chris and George Fusscas in Andes Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Frank D’Orta motored to West Babylon, L. I., last Sunday and visited rela tives, including his sister, Mrs. Donna Salanitri. John JaquisH, who stays wdtb than, spent the weekend with his brother- in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. St. Jacques, at Amsterdam. Mrs. Joan Allen and daugh ter, 'nmmah, Teanedc, N. J., and Mr. and Mrs. Krishna Raheme of Bombay, India, spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Braley. James Moore of South Carolina also visited at the Braley home. Charles Zanghi and son, Charles Jr., of Bayshore, L. I., and brother-in-law, Chris Hol- strum of King’s Park, L. I., spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Frank D’Orta. Mr. and Mrs. William Gilham of Conesville visited Mr. Gil- ham’s mother, Mrs. Julia Gil ham, Sunday. The Gilhams’ new twin daughters have been seriously ill with virus pneu monia. They were taken from Catskill to St. Peter’s hospital in Albany, where Janine is still a patient, although Geraldine has been brought home. Ralph Wood of Whippany, N. J., visited his grandmother, Mrs. Julia Gilham, the first vveekend in January. Monday Mr. Wood joined the Marines and will be at Parris IslaiHi, S. C. A son, Anthony 3d, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Sivas of Jefferson on Jan. 8 at Fox hospital, Oneonta. The baby weighed 6 V 2 pounds. Mrs. Sivas is the former Debra Gilham, and Mrs. Julia Gilham of Rox bury is the grandmother. Mrs. Gilham and daughters, Edith and Mrs. Sharon Wright, were at Jefferson Saturday to see the new baby. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Martin of Bellport, L. I., visited Mr. and Mrs. George Senyk for the weekend. The Martins are for mer residents. Mr. and Mrs. George J.
