' Mr. and Mrs. Paul Seeburger of Neu Ulm, on the Danube in .permany are spending the week with Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kozuch. Carol and John Rinaldo of Lake Katrine spent several days with their aunt, Mrs. E. Wilkens, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Chauncey of Shan- daken, Mr. and Mrs. John Riin- aldo Sr. of Lake Katrine were Sunday guests at the Wilkens home. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Sears and sons were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Young and family at Syosset, L.I., from Thurs day until Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Erich Wilkens have bought the home of Mrs. Richard Sandberg on Pine Hill road. The family moved here last October and has resided in this house. Two weeks ago they bought it. Mrs. Robert Tick is spending the week with her son, Dr. Paul Tick, and family at Painted Post. Mrs. William Dilg and Mrs. Phyllis Travis of this vUIage attended a surprise baby shower for Mrs. Thomas Aley of Big Indian at the home of Mrs. Brian Kelly at Mt. Tremper Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Barley and two children have moved to Big Indian. They spent •three weeks with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Frasier Cure, and sons. Karl Stramke returned home on Saturday after several weeks in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. William Dilg and family spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam Dilg Sr., at Cornwall. They helped Mr. Dilg Sr. celebrate his birthday. Twenty family members spent Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Smith and helped Karen Sue celebrate her fifth birthday. Ice cream and cake were served. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fischer of Valley Cottage spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Smith Sr., and family. Mr. Fassett is Mrs. Angell’s brother. On their way home on the New Jersey turnpike Mr. Angell, who was driving, be came suddenly ill and turned the wheel over to his wife. Examinations Begin Monday at Onteora Phoenicia, June 8.—Final ex aminations for the Onteora junior-senior high school will beg'n on Monday. School ex aminations and Regents review clas es will be given from Mon day, June 12, to Friday, June 16. All students in grades 7-12 are required to attend school on each of these days. The Regehts examinations schedule begins on Monday, June 19, and ends on Wednes day, June 21. Only students who have a Regents examina tion are required to attend school on June 19, 20 and 21. Normal bus transportation will be in effect during school and Regents examinations periods. Morning Regents examinations will .begin at 11:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m. New OCS Program Phoenicia, June 8.—Onteora high school will start a new science program next year. This new program, already approved by the board of education, will start . next year and include grades 7 through 9. Basic con cepts, rather than specific facts, are the goals of the program. At the end of the year the stu dents will be given a problem based on all their previous ex periences and Ibe asked to solve it. By M rs.
