B Sloan—Sir: My daughter, of a- bout ten years old, had been very lame, and had suffered wonderfully for a year or more with a bunch or swelling on her knee, which was pro duced by an injury she received in falling. Her knee had got to be full double its natural size an-l nothing seemed to help it or make it any better Besides blistering, we tried many other remedies prescribed by the physicians without any benefit or relief tothe girl. I then heard of your Ointment, and in September lost procured one box of it at Sloan’s Medicine De pot in Buffalo, N. Y. We used it rather spar ingly, but she received such benefit from it that I procured another box, and by the time the second box was half used up the giil was well of her lameness, and the bunch or swe.ling had entirely disappeared. We used the Oimment rather faithlessly at first, and doubtles^it we . had used it more freely and constantly, the cure would have been accomplished in less than half the time. . Yours, JACOB W ADE.
