% > ■> I I* R ingbone. D r.W .B. Sloan— S ir: I have a horse that has been troubled with ringbone for some txvo years, which made him extremely lame, and rendered his service o f little 01 no value. I re. cently applied a box of your celebrated Horse Ointment, after making a small incision on the top of the bunch with a knife. The lameness and bunch have nearly disappeared, and I have no doubt but the second box which I am now using will effect a permanent cure. Your medi cines have a name and popularity, in our section of country, unequaled in the history o f remedies. You are at liberty to publish this testimonial for the benefit of others, for it was from testi monials that I was induced to make use of your Ointment, and test for myself its wonderful effi cacy and virtues as a remedy. SLOAN'S < FAMILY MNTMEW. ♦ New testimonials of the efficacy and incrcasirtfl popularity of this medicine are constantly coniine to hand. The thousands heretofore received, all express its virtues, and a world of gratitude for its unspeakable benefits. But it is impossible to lay before the public any considerable proportion of my certificates, in as in^lc advertisement. At* ention is, therefore, particularly directed to tha following extraordinary cases, viz; Of Mrs. Mary Ann Munay, of Buffalo, N. Y^ who had a swelling on Iter hand that increased and extended until it reached her shoulder, when tlie fatal symptoms o f nausea and vomiting set in, and she thougnt she could not survive another day. At this critical period, the Ointment was freely applied to the swelling,, and upon the stomach, and in less than thirty minutes, she fell into a quiet slumber and reposed soundly fur the firs time, as she says, in nearly two weeks.: Of Mrs. Aim Dickenson, who was terribly burned and disfigured by the explosion of Salt* petre, but was cured without tlie usual suffering m cases o f bums, and witliout leaving any scars; Of Michael Deverscy, of Chicago, who was so horribly scalded by the bursting of a Boiler that the skin dropped from his antics, and who was instantly relieved from his sufferings and cured, aa also his daughter, of llirastnus,in an almost in credibly short time by tlie use of S loan ' s O ixt memt O f the Lady, at Worcester, Muss., who teas re stored to perfect healtlt, and more than ordinary beauty, after haring suffered ten years with Ele phantiasis—tliat dire disease which makes the human form hideous, and existence, as the says, worse than death: Of George Turner, of XVette-st, Chicago, who had been a cripple for fifteen years, from injuries received in his foot: had used 14 bottles of Trask’s Magnetic Ointment, in one year, without any per manent benefit, but was cured, laid aside his staff, put on liis boot, and walked about like other men in less than thirty days from tlie first application? Of Hiram W. Thomas, of St. Louis, Missouri whose leg having been crushed by a raft, was loft with running Sores at the knee, causing such pain and suffering that he declares death would often have been a welcome messenger: Of 0. B. Ostrander, of Sheboygan, Wig., who had l>ecn afflicted for two years with five large deep Ulcers just above the ankle, and all the medical skill of that region had been employed upon them without success, but Sloan’s Ointment cured him in three weeks. ^ For further particulars, and a multitude of cer tificates of remarkable cures, get pamphlets of agents.
