The Gloria Trumpeters were dressec in white satin robes , were very charm ing in manner and were very gener ous in responding to encores. Big Woods Fire Several hundred acres of woodland were burned over In the vicinity of the Bread and Cheese Hollow road , cast of East Northport , Wednesday, destroying one large barn and severa l outbuildings , endangering a number of dwellings which were saved only by heroic work of the firemen with the assistance of other volunteers , and resorting to back firing.
