The Rev. Karl F. Moore, pastor of St. Marks: Methodist church of Rockville Centre, of- ficiated at the ceremony, before a fermn-banked altar decorated with chrysanthemums. Organ music was played by Mrs. John Taylor of Rockville Centre, and Edward Van Aalten, also of Rockville Cen- tre, played violin selections, The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white slipper satin made with a high neckline, fitted sleeves tapering to points at the wrists and a full skirt with lace inserts which ended in the short train. Her tulle veil fell from a corontet of orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums. Miss Constance Brodeur of Rockville Centre was maid of honor. and Elaine Kibler was flower girl. Bridesmaids were Miss Ruth Noland of Garden City and Miss Marjorie Schlueter of Rock- ville Centre. The maid of honor wore a gown of wine colored moire taffeta made with a full skirt, . short jacket and- puff sleeves. A bow tied in the back made a bustle effect. The other attendants wore identical gowns in blue moire taffeta and all car- ried bouquets of mixed chrysan- themums. They wore small match- ing veils with a coronet of velvet flowers holding them in place. The flower girl wore a coronet of moire. Walter Kirch of East Rockaway was the best man and the ushers were Harry Taylor and David Payn, both of Rockville Centre, William Pick of Lynbrook and Adrian McCall of Wantagh. Mrs. Payn wore a gown of royal blue velvet with a matching tur- ban and Mrs. Petersen wore a plum lace gown. They wore cor- sages of white gardenias. A dinner for the immediate families and close friends followed the ceremony at The Chefs in Rockville Centre. The bride wore a white lace gown and her long veil of bridal illusion fell from a Juliet cap. She carried a bouquet of white roses, valley lilies and white orchids. They wore Juliet caps and carried old fashioned bouquets. The flower girl wore an ankle length frock in peacock blue taffeta and carried a basket of roses. The bride and bridegroom re- ceived at the church following the ceremony. There followed a din- ner at the Garden City hotel for the bridal party. After a motor trip south for two weeks, Mr. and Mrs. Zimms will reside in their new home in the Surrey Estates, in Queens, Mr. Zimms is an employee of the New York city fire department.
