Another shock was felt a t Staten Island, on Sunday morning last. A Bore. It is now said that the pro jected canal between Boston and the Con necticut River, will be given up as hope less in consequence of its being found ne cessary to cut a tunnel of 2 1-4 miles through a ridge near Bolton in Massachu setts. It is supposed that this is too great a bore for the Bostonians. Part o f A e tunnel o f the Union Canal, near Lebanon, caved in on the 14th inst and covered eight of the laboiers, four of whom were killed. Arrest.
