Valuation pf Pronertin The Cnmprinv owns difedly and controls throuRh stock ownership leases on 4,840 acres of land in oil producing fields in Texas. Kansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana, on which there are already 59 producing wells; besides 54 tank cars, an interest in a gasoline plant, extensive modern equipment, drilling materials and a developed marketing department. MESSRS. SANDERSON A FORTER, ENGINEERS, oj A'otr I'orfr City, have made a thor- ough investigation and examination of the Company's properties, and they report their conclu- sions as follows: \Assuming the provision of adequate capital fnr continuing the development of the properties and the reliability of the data and records furnished by company officials nnd based upon the historv of other properlics in these localities, we appraise the Magna Oil and n ;ninroC In the nrmlnrinrr nml properties deserineil in hx- - hibit A. attached hereto, at 84,203,000, In making our appraisal of the producing properties . we have excluded and separately allowed for the estimated cost ni (leveiiiryneni nmi pro- duction ns a charge against earnings and have assumed the recovery of the amount of such appraisal within the expected commercial producing life of the properties, and, as requested k vm. hivt- - mnrle nllnwancp for the navment of 12 annual dividends. Administrative expenses allowed for include only those of the field offices.\ This valuation does not include the Company' liquid assets, movable equipment, unused drilling materials, tank cars, marketing department and intercl in thclloynton Gasoline Company, which is conservatively valued at $1,740,042.53. The obligations of the Company do not exceed $552,000, exclusive of a deferred liability amounSing to $115,000. Production i i The Company's interest in the present production is 0,230 barrels daily, of the value, at average prevailing prices, at 82.26 per barrel, amounting to 814,031. Owing to congestion in transporta- tion facilities now'prevailing in North West Extension Rurk-Hume- the Company's entire pro- duction from that field is not being taken, and the production from those wells is therefore estimated and included in the above figure. Practically all of the Company's production in the States of Oklahoma and Kansas is settled. A fair estimate of the average daily production (flushed pro- duction reduced one-ha- lf of present flow) from the producing wells during the coming year is 3,500 barrels, or 1,283,500 barrels per annum, at the average value of $2.25 per barrel, and including net rent income from tank cars r.nd income from the marketing dennrtincnl nnd gasoline plant, equals $2,823,480. In addition, the Company is actively engaged in the drilling of other wells. On the Iltirk-nurnc- tt property there are nt present 10 wells in process of completion, six of which are on top of the sand. There are about 12 wells in process of completion on the other properties. There is, therefore, every probability that with the increased resources the production of the Company will be largely increased.
