On Monday evening, April 9th, the Mens Club will hold a \How to Sed^r\ at 8:00 PM. Tlj[? program will be geared to those who have never conducted a Pass- over Sedar, and to those who have, but wish to learn more. Tables will be set up with the various holiday foods. Using the \Hagad- dah\ Rabbi Geller will explain the symbols and rit- uals of the Sedar. Cantor Tushman will sing some of the Passover songs that can be sung at your Sedar. It was an accent on Youth at the March meeting of the Lynbrook Republican Club as seen in photo above. Deirdre Spielman repres- ented the Lynbrook Young Republican Club at the Annual YR's National Leadership Conference held in Washington D.C., from March 15, 1984 thru March 18, 1984. At the conference Deirdre met men of Con- gress at the White House and heard first hand the problems and solutions being proposed to meet their needs of the Nation. Deirdre Spielman is the daughter of former Mayor and Mrs. Spielman. She is also one of Congressman Raymond McGraths nomi- nees to the United States Naval Academy. Miss Spielman is a member of the National Honor Society, and a varsity letter winner in several sports, and a leader within the School & Community. Deirdre will return to the Republican Club meeting on April 4, 1984 and report to the membership of her experience to her visit to Washington. Members of the public are cordially invited to attend. The meet- ings are held the first Wed- nesday of every month at the American Legion Club- house, Union Avenue, Lynbrook.
