PATENT TRADER Thursday, March 15,1973 — 15 Boys Club lists swim, sport plans for children, adults Firemen plan Pound Ridge's first big parade POUND RIDGE. - The Pound Ridge Fire Department will celebrate its 40th an niversary this summer by hosting a firemen's parade June 14, the first such event of this kind to be held in Pound Ridge. The all-volunteer department was organized in August,, 1933, and since then has provided fire protection for the 25 square mile area of the town Up to now, 20 area fire departments have accepted invitations to march and compete for trophies which will be awarded by the judges after the parade ends in Scotts Corners 16 singers * from Somers join county group SOMERS — Sixteen students from Somers Junior High School have been selected to sing in the Junior High Festival Chorus at the Music Festival of the Westchester County School Music Association April 6 and 7 at Mt. Vernon High School. The students will be present both days to rehearse for the concert to be given at 3:30 p.m. April 7. The concert will include the all-county band and orches tra as well. Students selected to take part are: Katie Critchlow, Cindy Horr, Jenny Hybel, Joan Mcln- tegert, Christina Toy, Reid An derson, Bob Larson, Lenny Martello, Donna Albertson, Mary Jane Foulkes, Carol Phethean, Bob Fiorella, Bob Rutter, Dan Monaco, Dorian Nuccio.
