Mrs. Berger asked if there was an area plan for PBB as required in section 442.1002 of the town zoning ordinance. The section states that any'development in PBB must conform to area plan recommendations for location, size and orientation of buildings and parking spaces. After Town Attorney John Minicus said he had never seen such a plan, planning board Chairman Martin Stone said the board would re-study its decision Last week the planning board announced it would stand by its approval of the 7 7 acre shop ping center with 58,000 square feet of retail space Planners said after an executive session study they decided the law had been complied with The PBB district is east of Trinity Pass on Westchester Avenue in Scotts Corners. Kreindler, an aviation lawyer living on McKesson Hill Road, Chappaqua, has become the first American named a Queen's Counsel in England, that country's highest legal position. As representative for several estates of 118 people killed last June when a British European Airways plane crashed just after takeoff at London's Heathrow Air port, Mr. Kreindler is the first American permitted to take part in an investigation into the cause of the accident. It is also the first time a representative of passengers can take part in the hearing The tribunal hearing currently un derway in London involves a judge hearing discussion on the cause of the accident and making recommendations to prevent future accidents, said Stanley Levy of Kreindler and Kreindler, who has just returned from the hearing. About a half hour before Ihe flight, Pilot Stanley Key and other BEA em ployees were discussing a possible strike by junjpr flight officers. Mr. Key was against the action ai\d-believed it was unprofessional. A heated argument ensued, according to witnesses. Then the pilot apologized to one man and proceeded to his flight bound for Brussels. The plane crashed shortly after takeoff in a meadow at Staines, Middlesex, killing all the passengers and crew. Found in the wreckage were several messages saying \Strike now,\ \Key must go\ and \When Stanley Key dies, who will be God's next representative to BEA?\ These sayings are also reportedly written on tables in the cockpit of other BEA airplanes, Mr. Levy said. Cardiologists also said that 52-year-old Pilot Key suffered extensive heart damage prior to the flight and had a long standing heart condition Mr. \Kreindler will remain in London during the investigation which he is really enthusiastic about, his wife said POUND RIDGE - Contour maps of Ward Poundridge Reservation, detailing all trails, open for hiking, jogging, and ski touring, are now on sale for 50 cents at the park's Nature Museum and the Bedford Sportsman store.
