KISCO, N.Y., THURSDAY, DECEMBER 13, 1956 Page 11 Finance Firm Office Opens In Brewster BREWSTER—New offices of the Beneficial Finance Company now axe in operation at 35 Main Street. This makes 116 offices operated b y the company, according to Morris A. Wildman, company president. The concern formerly was the Personal Finance Company. Robert 1>. Corcoran, who has been with th^company since 1950, has been named manager, of the Brewster office. He and hi s wife have taken up residence on Long- view Drive. He has been associated with the firm's offices in Peek- skill, Newburgh, Yonkers, Mt. Vernon and New Rochelle. An invitation to the general pub lic to visit the new office was ex tended this week b y Mr. Wildman and Mr. Corcoran. The corpora tion now has over 1,100 offices in the United States, Canada, Hawaii and Alaska. Miss Dolores Gallagher of Maple Road, Brewster, will assist i n the offipe. R. L. Smith of Frog Rock Road, partner in the firm of Smith and Flanagan, cer tified public accountants, i s open ing an office at 3 North Moger Avenue, Mt. Kisco, with his part ner, Owen J . Flanagan of Harts- dale The decision to open a branch of the New York firm was made, according t o Mr. Smith, i n view of recent business growth in Northern Westchester and the lack of a certified public accountant in Mt. Kisco. Mr. Smith, who came to Chap- paqua with his parents in 1930, studied accounting at Syracuse University and has been in this field since graduation. The part nership of Smith and Flanagan was formed three years ago, and will continue lt.s business in audit ing, accounting, and taxes at the New York address while maintain ing the Mt.
