Teachers Plan Xmas Party The Chappaqua Teacher's As­ sociation is planning a Christ­ mas social meeting Wednesday, Dec. 19th. General chairman of arrangements, Katrine Troyan- vich, promises a real old-fashion­ ed Christmas party with an ex­ change of gifts, stunts and a real Santa Claus. Xmas Holiday At School Harry von Zell congratulated Joan Davis on Columbia's \Joan Davis Show\ on her luck in in­ heriting a fortune. \When you walk down Main street now,\ he told her, \you'll bf able to hold your head high.\ \But wont that leave a big empty space on my shoulders?\ Joan quipped. * * * Frank Sinatra played a brief accordion solo on his CBS show and explained, \I've only been playing the accordion this past year. On Friday morning, December 21st, the senior dramatic club will pre­ sent a Christmas pageant, \The Old, Old Story.\ Performances will be given in the auditorium of the Horace Greeley School at ten and at eleven o'clock in the morning. Jane Schroeder is in charge of producing this page­ ant. The parents and public are invited to attend.
