1 Page 6 Fashion i The Other Paper ------------------- - —— - JAMAA, the Black Student Association at Onondaga ComL munity College, can be very proud of the fashion show it produced December 2nd, 4:30 p.m. Despite the fact the student organizers; (Delores Vickers President, Arthur Mae Davis Vice President and Pamela Saunders) and participants were working on short notice, the event was well co ordinated and most enjoyable to watch. Special congratulations should be offered to the planners of the show who worked hard to ensure its success; ana tne models. . .Jane Morris, Arthur Mae Davis, Gloria Mack, Arlene Hunt, Laurie Flagg, Elizabeth Giarrosso who despite limited time for preparation per formed in a manner which rivaled professionals. The event was enhanced and ap propriately complemented by its attractive and articulate com- menator Pat Allen, who did an ex cellent job; and the dynamic musical accompaniment of the N'TAKATU Drummers and their dancers. JAMAA is planning an active second semester including Black Weekend* activities to com memorate Martin Luther King and Black History Week and a sen sitivity session with various school and community personnel serving as panel participants.
