\he Other Paper CENTRO ANNOUNCES BUS CHANGES 3) Elimination of bus route directly to Midtown Plaza. Students requiring bus service to Mid town Plaza from the Onondaga Hill Campus should transfer to Salt Springs or Erie Boulevard buses. Officials of Centro met at the college recently to discuss bus service. As a result of this meeting, the following changes to the published September 25th bus schedule are announced: 1) Express bus to Onondaga Hill Campus will leave Fayette & Salina at 7:18 A.M. 2) Addition of one bus to leave Onondaga Hill Campus at 11:10 A.M. daily. In the near future, construction will begin on a shed to protect students waiting for buses from in clement weather. This will be located at a site to be determined on the hill campus. B-Board Announcement Since the bulletin boards up here on the new campus have looked lik e jum b led manageries of paper cuttings, we have organized a commit tee to clean these boards once every two weeks. We would like in the future a neat bulletin board, one where we all have a little room for our ads, our complaints ahd our trivia. Social Ac- Your Student Government For Those Of You Who Missed It The sole purpose of the existence of the Student Govern ment is needless to say, exactly what the name suggests: a govern ment for the students! It is a carnivorous reptile and can sever a human being with one clamp of its powerful jaws. This will quite explain the drainage of the pond. It was drained not due to a weak dike, but to search for the monster. Af ter draining the pond, investigators found no trace except for blurred footprints and a large remainder of a hole dug by a clawed creature. So, it undoubtedly points out to us and our staff that the OCC-NESS monster is alive and well in the depths of the Pogey Pond Basin. One final word, we caution anyone attempting in any way to enter the basin for clues of the monster. Please be on the utmost alert when driving at night or during the rain. the student with someone who will truly listen rather than tolerate. Student\ Government meetings will be held every Monday in Room 282 at 11:00. Everyone is. invited! There are many problems with which we have to deal with this year. Student participation will be necessary to accomplish the goals. There are only 25 Student Senators and 5 Student Govern ment Officers trying to improve the student’s lot. Please help us!! The Committee On Grievences The committee on student grievences was formed to help you, the student, get your fair shake. The committee chairman is Dave Kroft and he is there to help you. A “Bitch Box” will be located in the library near the elevator. The committee guarantees that any complaint will be in the strictest confidence. If you get hassled by the faculty, staff, or ad ministration, get the offending per sons name, and if possible get the name of at least one witness. If you have any immediate problems call Dave at 635-564, area code 315. by Diane Mannion The Autumn Fest was held at Song Mountain’s Thunderbird Lounge, on Saturday, September 23, from nine to one. Entertain ment was provided by Monolith and Orange. The event was spon sored by the Student Senate. An estimated six hundred people turned out for the event. It cost approximately two hun dred sixty-eight dollars for beer, twenty-seven dollars for chips, fourteen dollars for soda, three hundred dollars for the rental of the Thunderbird Lounge, ninety- six dollars was paid for labor, twenty-five dollars for the Sheriff and three hundred seventy dollars Firing Line POLICY STATEMENT Parking permits DO NOT entitle the holder to a reserved space on Campus nor do they guarantee parking in any specific location.
