S.G. Elections - Friday, March 24 t h e o t h e r p a p e r “ B . B . D i e s ” The widely read-and-be loved college paper, THE BLUE BANNER, died Friday after a long illness which doctors termed to be an acute attack of APATHEA. The illness lasted several years. Surviving are its editors, writers and a few close friends. The BLUE BANNER formerly the OCC PRESS was born in May of 1964, struggled all its life and has now gone to the reward of all papers that try and are scorned. Commenting on the “ BB’s” death, the editor remarked, “ We knew it was coming; there just wasn’t anything we could do.” Overcome by tears the Editor wept openly over the flag draped coffin. The B.B. will be replaced by THE OTHER PAPER.
