V â f i b c & e ' JOE AWESOME V As simple as life is Some people find it difficult. We meet people and then go from there. Memories which neither of us will forget. We talked, listened and helped each other Whenever we were just feeling down or needed a friend. We would pass each other on campus Exchanging a smile and a shout of “hello.” when we were playing softball I would be yelling “ Pitch it in there Terri-kid” While you were on third looking scared You would look at the batter and then look at the bench, Close your eyes, and always looked like you were thinking, “Why me?” Then you would bend your knees, Look back at your bag, check the runner and then Stick your glove: in front of you - hoping not to get a line drive. You would always give your best Even when your were sick or were just having a bad day \ye were always cheering for each other - “ (thanks for the double)” -Giving each other support and yes Giving that little extra boast of confidence .' We just couldn’t find in ourselves. Whether you were Lisa, Reggie, Starsky, Mardule or even Joe Awesome I will always remember you and the “ nice” memories we share As much as I hate to, it’s time to say good-bye. I find life difficult, but I will stop as simple as I started. We meet people and then we go from there. Laurie Howe Personals Food for thought: I would like to be in a better mood early in the mornings but the Pub’s not open. Congratulations girls of Theta Omega and best of luck for the continued success of your sorority. The Brothers of Alpha Phi Delta. Maria and Bob — What really happened that night your stories didn’t match! Tina — thanks for the “ dinner” Wednesday morning. Michelle — What were those little things crawling on the bar Satur day night. To SAB — Thanks for an exellent Parent’s .Weekend. IF NEVER WE ... If never I saw your face If never you saw my face I would never had met you You would never had met me If never you let me wipe the tears from your eyes If never I let you wipe the tears from my eyes We would never have had to say good-bye. If never I became your close friend If never you became my close friend It would not have been so hard for us to part I shall remain your friend You.shall remain my friend Just not knowing where or when we would meet again If ever you’re down and out And need someone to listen, talk to or lean on I’ll always be here You’ll always be there. Just remember we have parted But we shall never shed a tear of loneliness I’ll always be here for you You’ll always be there for me ' In heart and mind We shall remain friends forever. COMING’ PAST LIFE RECALL WORKSHOP Sunday, October 24,1982 * *★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ¥ This workshop is a six-hour session in which the participants experience various time periods in their past. A group technique is used in which most subjects reach a deep state of relax ation, with vivid imagery from the subconscious level. Total recall of this experience is part of the technique. . . In memory bank of your subconscious mind xs the memory of everything that you have ever ex perienced in this life as well as any of your past lives. Any or all of these things can be remembered and examined. For instance, you meet someone and are imediately attracted to them. Is it love at first sight, or have you loved that person for thousands of years? Only to have met again this timearound, to share and grow through your relationship with one an other. Did you ever wonder why you take such an instant dislike of someone with no logical rea son, or why you are afraid of heights or closed in places? Perhaps you are overweight and have \tried everything.\ Through past life recall, thousands of people have found these problem areas deeply rooted in the past and were able to release the difficult ies in THIS LIFE by becoming aware of their origins. Whether you believe in reincarnation or are skeptical of it is unimportant. As long as what you perceive broadens your perspective and un derstanding about yourself and your world today. Making use of past experiences to create a happi er, more harmonious life today is the purpose of this workshop. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ¥ ¥ ¥ ¥ ¥ ¥ ¥ ¥ conducted by * Rev.
