Whether student produced programming would be made under the auspices of a course in the telecom program, the new technical communications program, or an SAB club (as are the paper and radio station) is really neither here nor there. Television is the predominant ■* medium of our time— and with the latest television production technology on campus, students could gain practical, real world experience in all phases of television production— for college credit. With the advent of the dorms, student television would have a captive resident audience. Having a state-of-the-art TV studio literally in our basement, without programs in place enabling a bigger share of the student body to take full advantage of it, seems a genuine opportunity lost. holiday season to the Utica Food Bank. The canned goods were collected at \Party Your Assets Off\ as part admission price. Recently, the club sold t-shirts sporting Desert Storm slogans with all profits to aid servicemen and women in the Persian Gulf. The Accounting Club has about 30 members this year, some of which graduated in December. We have many other goals and objectives to accomplish. We would like to hold lectures on campus with guest speakers from the Accounting field, and the club is looking into the purchase of computer software to aid students who are studying for the CPA examination. A key to reaching these goals is strong leadership and participation from current members. As long as the club holds onto these, two valuable assets, -it will continue to enrich the Accounting Program at SUNY Tech.
