SODUS, October 6 - JV Spartan Sopho more Matthew Mares sets himself up for a header into the back of the net as the cross pass is out of reach for the Dansviile goalie. Sodus went on to win in convinc ing fashion with an 8-1 thumping of the Mustangs on Saturday. The JV Spartan team currently holds a record of 7 wins, 3 losses and 5 ties with three games remain ing on the season. They will host NRW on Wednesday, October 10. Troop 125 shares summer of BSfun fea !>' tM«W< ' 2& V3 From Troop Scribe Rick Yackel WILLIAMSON - The troop's had an amazing summer. We've gone on many trips and have many tales to tell. We have gone from the islands of the Bahamas to the capital of Canada. So, without further ado, here's our summer summary. Our first trip was, as usual, to the scout camp Babcock-Hovey. The Eleanor Roosevelt Legacy Com mittee was inspired by the dynamic legacy of Eleanor Roosevelt, one of the most influential figures of the 20th cen tury. Eleanor Roosevelt dedicated her life to ex- panding the role of women in politics and government. As she fa mously baid, democ racy is not about words, but action. This year Eleanor's Legacy has awarded nearly $110,000 to over 170 women candidates for elections in New York State.
