Stickwork Features Using their bats to great advantage the Normalites pounded out hit after hit to register a 13 to 3 win. A clever clout, a triple and two doubles were the extra base hits garnered off of the offering of two Cornell pitchers. Scofield on the mound for Normal, hurled beautiful ball, holding the Ithacans to eight hits and having ten strikeouts to his credit. Home Run Features Early in the seventh, George Stevens connected for a homer scoring, both Class and Fox. Fox and Class vied for first honors in hitting for the day.
