CRIIK/ Alpha Gamma Delta At our International Reunion Pay Hanquet. ex-president Libby Bohlen was presented a charm bracelet by the alumnae as the out standing member of the senior class. The senior girls present were initiated into the alumnae chapter. Members not present who wish a copy of the “Gleanings” and a list of alums are asked to contact Kunice Dissington. Congratulations to Mary Ellen Cliusey and Sonja Eskola as well as to all others elected to Cap and Gown. Theta Chi The regular meeting was held on Monday evening at the sorority apartm e n t . Moving* Up-Day plans were discussed. Congratulations to Irene Gra* ham and the other girls who were elected into Cap and Gown. Sifima Kappa At the Home Concert on April 22 the following girls were elected to Cap and Gown: Marcelyn Burke, Shirley ('labeau, Jeanne Richards, Mary Ann Viegel, and Orian Ward. Dot Brenner received the Fresh man ring. Also, Alice Bartlett was elected to the Spanish Honorary Society^ Sigma Delta Pi. Chi Omega The last meeting of Chi Om ega was held at the home of Joan Helmerl. Plans were discussed for t h e Moving-Up-Day float and also for the summer cottage. Kappa Nu A meeting of the Chapter was held Mon. night, April 25, at the Hotel Buffalo. A party was held Saturday night, April 23, at the cottage of Arnold Stern, at Crystal Beach. The social committee indicat ed th a t the fraternity would hold a stag dinner, the formal Initiation of the pledge class, and an informal dance at the Hotel Sheraton on t h e night of Saturday, May 7. Dinner will be served at 7 P.M. The next meeting will be held Monday, May 3, at t h e Ho tel Buffalo. Kappa Sigma Kappa The members of the New York Alpha chapter of Kappa Sigma Kappa have elected the following officers for the cpming year. Intramural Sports By FRITZ SHELGREN Intram u ral softball started the spring intram u ral season with ac tion taking place in three leagues. In the Fraternity league S.A.N. scored two victories, downing S.A.M. 19-3 and X.T.O. 6-4. The latter game was an extra-inning battle. In both games Bernle Thorne pitched his m ates to vic tory. Beta Sigma Tan also scored two victories downing Beta Sig ma Psl in a 10-7 slugfest and top pling Theta Chi 4-1 in a tight ball- game. In other games. Beta Sigma Rho trounced A.K. Psi 18-4, X.T.O. outslugged Alpha Phi Delta 13-9, Theta Chi shut out K.S.K. 16-0. K.S.K. also dropped a 4-3 decision to Alpha Phi Omega, who in turn forfeited to Beta Sigma Psl. In the remaining game, S.A.M. edged out Beta Sigma Rho 8-7. In Thursday campus league com petition, the Lackawanna club seiz ed first place beating the PlUrolk era 10-1 and also topping E.S.U.B. 19-11. In the other scheduled games the Loafers beat the Jokers 9-3 and the Jokers outhlt the PHI- rollers 11-10. There was no activity in the Tuesday campus league because o( rain.
