If you have social problems, the 1946 Student Directory is the only answer to your trou bles. As 1500 students have al ready discovered, our new Di rectory is one of the most valu able and popular manuals that can be found on the campus. With its handy addresses, tele phone numbers, courses, and year of graduation of every U. B. student, it can readily be seen why 1500 copies of “this guide to social life” were sold within only four days. Since there are still a few hundred students who are eag er to own a Directory, a new supply has been obtained and will go on sale in Norton lob by on Wednesday, December 18. First ^ on the holiday agenda of ac-^ tivities is the annual Christml^^ Dance, which begins at 9:00 to morrow evening at Kleinhans Music Hall. Frank Harris and his band, having just returned from a nation-wide tour and an appearance at Giro’s in Hol lywood, will provide the music for the four-hundred couples who are expected to attend. Rumors that have been circu lating of late concerning the barring of sales in the Klein hans lounge are not confirmed, and it is believed that they are wholly unfounded. Last year’s Christmas Dance found the unique spectacle of tuxedo-clad fellows carrying their long-frocked dates across feet of snow to their cars, hid den by immeasurable “White Christmas.” Nevertheless, Buf falo’s weather with all its in consistency cannot deter the students from the Christmas Dance nor can it dampen full enjoyment of the affair. The chairman of the semi- formal affair is Regis Steven son. His committee consists of James Anderson, tickets; Anna Gambardella, guests, and Norma Burkhardt and Doris Bertoglio, who are handling publicity.
