That a great deal of pleasure* may he derived from tin* a/ding and read ing of a play in parts was proved at tin* meeting on Saturday (*v<*ning, October 2.xtli. In tills way “The Mollusc,” a comedy in three acts was presented by Louise Clark, Margaret Jackson, Arthur Keesler and Mr. Parry. Such a presentation eliminates the vast amount of tijme and energy re quired for rehersals, and with merely sufficient stage setting to lend atmos phere may be made most effective. The delightful informality of such productions appeals to many who would not feel that they had the re quisite ability to attempt a more for mal presentation, and thus affords an excellent, opportunity to all members to participate in work of a dramatic: nature.
