The business staff chosen eon sists of the following members: Business manager, Elisabeth Ale- G o n i g a l ; assistant business m a n ager, Juliette Hopkins; advertis ing manager, Lois cir culating manager, Louise Clark: auditor, Helen Alailey ; chief elerk, Doris Butts-; staff typists, Geraldine Deeney and Alargaret Orr. Some changes have been made in the departments of the paper The work of exchange editor will hereafter he done in connection some other department. Fol low i n g policies for ac curacy and effective organization, provision has been made for two new positions 011 tin* staff, t h a t of chief clerk and that of auditor. The above juniors have com peted for places on tin* ('ditorial and business staffs. Each con testant was given free choice as to the nature of the' work desired and then coached in that partic ular field by the head of the de partment. Much interest and ef fort were' shown and accurate rec ords kept for guidance in t h e final decision. The present staff feels that each n e w l y elected member is capable of filling the position assigned her. This is being supplemented by tic.1 Alumni fund. It is an unusually good pole, being of iron, 100 ft. lung, and in three sections. Great care is be ing taken to erect the pole se curely. A nine foot hole lias been dug and a concrete foundation laid. Tli (' ceremonies an* to take place Flag Day, June 14.
