Elderton, P. P. Chew, H. B. VanHoesen, Rev. Gilbertson. A meeting of the trustees of the college was held in connection with the dinner. The following trustees were p resen t: John K . W alker, D . J . Van Auken, Edward G. Herendeen, Douglas Merritt, Esq., Hon. W a lter A . Clark, Rev. S. DeLancey Townsend, James Armstrong, Rev. Elwood W orcester, Rev. John P. Peters, Dr. Theo dore C. Janeway and the President of the college. It was voted to raise M r. Muirheid to assistant professor o f English. The salary of a secretary to the president was guaranteed. The degrees to be conferred next commencement were voted. The student’s petition, whereby all excess of the extra campus tax over $125 becomes available either fo r the treasurer or for the athletic council with the consent of the former and of the president, was granted. Dr. W orcester announced his intention o f providing money for the improvement of Geneva Hall. The trustees together with the visiting professors of the college were entertained at luncheon by Mr. James Armstrong. While the president was in New York, he visited St. Paul’s School at Garden City and spent a v e ry pleasant day with the principal, Dr. T. L . Gamage and Rev. Norman 0 . Hutton.
