The Board of Control will give two prizes of $10,00 each for th,- best stories submitted to the Board of Editors of the Hobart Herald, The first prize of $10.00 will he awarded in March 1906, and the second of $10.00 will be awarded in June 1906. 2. All stories for the March prize must be submitted before Feb. 20. 1906, and for the June prize before May 19, 1906. 3. All stories must be written by a bona fide undergraduate of Hobart College and no limit will be placed upon the number of stories composed by one person. 4. All stories whether awarded the prize or not will be the perma nent property of the Board of Editors of the Hobart Herald. 5. No names shall be signed to the stories but each manuscript must be mailed, numbered and accompanied by a sealed envelope containing the author’s name with the number on the outside of the envelope. U. The stories must contain at least 1500 words and not more than 2500 words. No limitations are placed on subject matter. 7. The members of the Board of Editors of the Herald assisted by two faculty members shall judge the stories submitted. S. Any contestant who hints at or divulges in any manner the subject matter or the authorship of his story will disqualify that story. A P P R E C I A T I O N .
