After satisfying the inner man, with the good things provided, under the direction of our genial toastmaster, Mr. John P. Bowman we proceeded with a “ feast of reason and flow of soul. John makes a good toastmaster. He said a good many clever things, and to him is due in a great measure, the success of this our second meeting. Former Arch Deacon Washburn was present and gave some very good advice to the young men. Dr. Converse also spoke to us in his accustomed happy manner. After short and interesting speeches by Mr. Mark W. W ay, and Mr. Y. W. Steitz, the following officers were elected for the ensuing year : President, V. Moreau Smith ; Vice-Pres ident ,.Mark W. W ay ; Secretary Steitz ; Treasurer ,G. T. Curtis. The Seneca Quartette rendered many of their delightful numbers, and was a'decidedly enjoyable feature of the banquet. We voted unanimously that the evening was most enjoyably and profitably spent and have added another mark along the sands of time which will be cheerful in memory and lure others, many others to go and do likewise.
