Courier-Journal Thursday, November 3, 1988 POLITICAL ADVERTISEMENT POLITICAL ADVERTISEMENT George Bush with 5 Marshall. CCT Ms it rmht to believe in the sanctity of life and protect the lives ofmnocent children? My opponent says no—but Isayyes. Ibu see, we must, we must change. We've got to change from abortion to adoption. And let me tell you this: Barbara and I have an adoptedgmnddaughter, and the day of her christening we wept with joy. I thank God that her parents chose life.\ Vice President George Bush T he Supreme Court legalized unrestricted abortion in 1973 by a 7-2 decision. Today the Court is almost evenly divided on abortion and could end abortion-on-demand depending on new appointments. THE NEXT PRESIDENT will appoint up to four new Supreme Court Justices. (Three will be over 80 on inauguration day.) THE NEXT PRESIDENT will decide whether millions of lives are saved or the killing continues for the next generation. DID YOU KNOW? • More than one out of every four unborn children is killed by abortion. • Before the Reagan-Bush Administration over $250 million of your tax dollars were used to pay for abortions. • Over 1.5 million abortions are now per- formed annually. Over 20 million chil- dren have died from abortion since 1973. • Abortion is legal for the entire nine months of pregnancy. • Most abortions done pn teenagers are done without parental knowledge or consent. The next'President — will decide the fete of more than one out of every four unborn chil- dren and we will decide who that President will be. THE RIGHT-TO-LIFE PARTY HAS MADE A MISTAKE. In New \brk State, the Right-To-Life party has chosen not to endorse Vice Presi- dent George Bush and has placed Dr. William Marra's name on the Right-To- Life party line for president. Since New \brk is the only state which has a Right-To-Life party, Dr. Marra's name will not be on the ballot in any other state. Dr. 'Marra is a dedicated pro-life individual, but the reality is he cannot win — the most his candidacy will do is to pull enough votes away from Bush to let Dukakis win — this would be an unbelievable tragedy. Please encourage your friends and relatives to make their votes count for the pro- tection of millions of innocent human Jives by voting for Vice President George Bush on November 8th. Vice President George Bush is endorsed by National Right-To-Life Political Action Com- mittee and New \brk State Right-Tb-Life Polit- ical Action Committee.
