YOUTH Youth is a wonderful time of life; it is a thrill to watch young people grow mentally, physically, spiritually. That is one of the greatest privileges a teacher has. Youth is the time to plan, to anticipate, to hope, to love. It is the time to choose one's path carefully, to prepare for it well, to think deeply, to work diligently, to live wisely. Youth is the time for decisions. Which is more important a full life of inner satisfactions or an empty life full of vain glory? Which shall be youth's choice--a--deep knowlege and understanding of the people and things around us or the acquisition of material things? Youth is a tumultuous, vigorous period. It is a time of con- flicting interests, worldly confusions, painful destractions. Youth is the time to learn to cope with the kins, the trustful, the generous, the cagey, the mean, the hard people which make un this world of ours. Youth is the time for radiance and happiness. It is the ideal time for building a sound foundation for the inevitable old age to come. by Sharon Youngs
