This will \be a tremendous help to the Ayrshire Breeders of this rcri^raMato^of 6^§r^ X£ie - Prides -work for one or mqT6 gxaauaues or ,j,c_r- graduates during the simmer and portions of the school year,, The Ay~3hir3 cow, lie, 958150, will \be placed under Official Registry tests soon, The Junior class in Butter and Cheese Making started a six weeks course on Friday and Saturday morning last, in the creamery laboratory. Instructor Young reports very fine churning of \butter as a result of the first efforts of the Junior artists. Three Short Course students are reporting for this work and two a.re also taking l-lilk Testing in a Special Class on Saturday afternoons under Mr. Young l s direction. A new can steamer is \being installed in the creamery which will be more efficient than the present outworn apparatus, Por many years the can cleaning room has \been a- nightmare to all T&.O- worked in it \but the recent installation of a ventilating hood wilh the £ipe running across the ceiling and up to the roof has served to clesn out all steam and made a vast improve- ment « The International Harvester Company of Ogdens\burg has recently loaned the school one of their latest model hand separators for use in the creamery labor- atory. Hr. Smith in Farm Mechanics Laboratory is exhib- iting a very interesting demonstration model of grain \binder for the same concern which shows just how the \bundle is made and the knot is tied.
