MORGAN At an apartment on Woodbine Avenue near Fifth on November 8 at 3:22 pm specifically in the Woodbine Marina parking lot loud clammers were reported. The uproar was appar- ently over an abundant catch. Clammers were constrained to mute the tumult. Arrest At 11:27 pm on November 7 on Hawkins Drive near Steers Avenue. An 18-year-old male was taken into cus- tody on the basis of an active bench warrant issued for his failure to pay a fine. He was transported to Headquarters where he was arraigned and released on payment of a $50 fine Another warrant arrest was made on November 7 at 8 30 pm at Headquarters where a 42-year-old male surrendered on an outstanding warrant He was processed and arraigned. A S!-year-old female was taken into custody by Suffolk County Probation Department officers on November 7 at 10:49 am on an active bench warrant. The Probation officers transported her to Northport Police Headquarters for processing. She was held for arraignment. On Laurel Avenue on November 5 at 4:45 am two 28-year-old males were arrested on a charge of criminal possession of a con- trolled substance. A quantity of cocaine and marijuana was impounded. Criminal mischief A criminal mischief misdemeanor complaint came in at 4:19 pm on November 5. Male complainant told police that between October 31 at 6 pm and midnight unknown subjects egged his house and launched paintballs at the house., breaking a window. Estrmated damage was $250. Petit larceny Petit larceny of a pocketbook was reported by 32-year-old female com- plainant on November 7 at 2:26 pm. taken the pocketbook from behind the counter at the store where she worked. Officer searched the location with neg- ative results. Contents of the bag were $80 cash, a cell phone, driver's license and credit card. Police information At 9:10 am on November 5 on Clipper Drive a squad of youths was detected spraying shaving cream on a driveway. Complainant wanted docu- mentation. The pubescent shaving cream squad moved its tactics to Clipper Drive near Terry Road on November 5 at 9:48 am. They were reported giving another driveway a coating of lather. Documentation was asked. Disturbance It was a tympana:- numbing party in full blast on Steers Avenue near Willo Beach on November 7 at 948 pm that prompted a call to police On armval several youths were observed in the area and they were warned and admon- ished. A male subject clad only in his birthday suit was observed on the steps of Trinity Episcopal Church on Main Street on November 5 at 2:51 am. Police officer responding constrained the ecdysiast to put his clothes on and go home. He did. A boat leaking fuel was reported at 10:56 am on November 5 at the Bayview Avenue Village Dock. Responding officer observed a small film of gasoline on the surface of the water. No further action was needed. Troop K of the skateboard squadron was out again on Laurel Avenue on November 5 at 5:01 pm. The skirmish line scattered at the sight of the approaching blue-and-white. Suspicious circumstance Reported on November 7 on Ocean Avenue at 6:51 am, this one involved a blue backpack left unattended across from incident location. Responding officer observed the backpack and removed it to rear of Headquarters. Call was anonymous.
