MORGAN A male subject clad in only his birth- day suit was observed by female com- plainant on October 21 at 3:54 pm on Dogwood Road. Complainant had reported seeing him naked on the deck of his home. Responding officer inter- viewed subject, now clad in bathrobe, advising him that, due to the change of season, his deck was clearly visible to persons on Ocean Avenue. He assured officer that, in future, he would resort to more appropriateraiment. Arrest Northport officers effected two arrests. One was the surrender Ema of a 28-year old [R icmic oo a xtive 1k am. 2 warrant at Headquarters on October 24 at 6:04 pm. She was pro- cessed and held for arraignment before the judge. The other occurred on Fort Salonga Road near Cherry Street on October 21 at 9:35 pm. A 68-year-old female was arrested after crashing her 1993 Honda Civic into a building, causing not only serious per- sonal injury, but damage to the building, a sign. an air pump and a light pole. She was driving while intoxicated. Petit larceny A case of petit larceny was being investigated. It occurred on theVillage Dock where a dinghy, valued at $250 was stolen on October 21 at about 9:20 am. Male complainant reported the theft. Suspicious circumstance On Locust Road near Waterside Avenue at 10:36 pm on October 21 female complainant reported a screen missing from a window and a ladderout of place. On arrival officer spoke with complainant who insisted the screen had been removed by unknown persons, and that the ladder was placed against the window inside the garage. A thor- ough investigation revealed nothing to be apparently missing and no apparent break-in. Female complainant told responding officer that a male kept banging on her door, refusing to say who he was. Responding officer deter- mined the door-banger was a Chinese food delivery person who had gone to the wrong location. A suspicious vehicle report was made on October 21 at 1:37 pm on Fort Salonga Road in the parking lot of a restaurant there. Male caller reported a blue Astrovan (identified) out of which electronic equipment was being sold; was headed toward the restaurant - parking lot. Police unit made for the lot, but sub- ject vehicle was gone. Disturbance On Steers Avenue the complaint was tympana-numbing music. On arrival police officer found only quiectude and explained these find- ings to complainant. At 10:02 am on October 22 male complainant told police of unwanted Newsday circulars. He felt that the circulars thrown in his yard was an act of littering. Complainant was advised this was not a police matter and that he should address : his concerns to Newsday. He then requested documentation. A speeding gray 2003 Infiniti (identified) was reported by male complainant on October 21 at 12:10 pm on Lisa Drive near Reservoir Avenue. Responding officer found the alleged speeder's wife at home and advised her of the com- plaint. She promised to bring it to her husband's attention. A parking complaint was called in on October 21 at 11:30 am from June Avenue near Scudder Avenue. Call was anonymous and, on arrival, officer issued appropriate summonses. A violation of Village Code was called in on October 24 at 8:52 pm from Laurel Avenue. It involved an unleashed dog running about that was unlicensed. Matter was still open.
