Legislatdr Cooper presents $201,000 grant check to Huntington YMCA Earlier this year, Suffolk County Legislator Jon Cooper obtained $20,000 in county funding for the Huntington YMCA He recently presented a symbolic \check\ to Ed Moffett, executive director, and Eileen Knauer, associate executive director, after a tour of the YMCAs facilities and summer camp The grant money was used to purchase supplies, equipment and shirts for the campers. The funds also paid for bus rentals to transport cultural and sports campers to and from Finley Middle School to the YMCA campgrounds each day for special events.
