Fit for Life is a national, library-based program for people of all ages ~ babies to seniors « that promotes healthy lifestyles. Because total health requires a fit brain and a fit body, the program emphasizes the value of activities that help develop both. At the Guilderland Public Li- brary, we're committed to provid- ing you with materials, programs (some new, some tried and true), and events designed to stimulate both your body and your brain. The foundation is hosting \Shred-Days\ at the library so you can bring in those old checking ac- count statements, tax documents, credit-card solicitations.(which jcmbj&ul^^^ a new account in your name), and other documents that you want to get rid of but can't just put in the recycling pile. We're having two Shred-Days in .January when you can bring your private papers to the li- brary and shred them with our industrial-strength shredder. \Shreddy as we call it, will be at your service on Saturday, Jan. 17,' from 10 a.m. to noon, and on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. Stand there and shred it yourself, or give it to one of our volunteers.
