Estrado, 51, of 94 Lexington Ave., second floor, Albany, was arrested on March 6, at Crossgates Mall, for third- degree grand larceny, value greater than $1,000, a felony. Estrado was stopped by a Filene's loss-prevention officer for concealing $3,228.75 worth of jewelry and undergarments in two bags and attempting to leave the store without paying for them, according to the arrest report. Guilderland Police say, Estrado made statements about wanting to do harm to herself and was evaluated by a mobile crisis team and then transported to the Veterans Affairs Hospital by police. Estrado was initially charged with the D felony of fourth-degree grand larceny due to the complainant not having an exact total value of the stolen merchandise at the time of her transport to the hospital, the report says. Stephani Beale-MacBeth, 39, of 53 Monroe Ave., Guilderland, was arrested on March 23, at Monroe Avenue and Norfolk Street, for driving while intoxi- cated, first offense, operating a motor vehicle with a blood- alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, and third-degree aggra- vated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, all misdemeanors, and two infractions: illegal use of a turn signal and drinking alco- hol in a motor vehicle on the highway. Guilderland Police say they received a call about a pos- sible intoxicated driver heading south on Route 155 from West- ern Avenue, and they sent pa- trols out to check the area but were unable to locate the vehicle at first. Then an officer observed the reported vehicle heading south on Norfolk Street, heading toward Monroe Avenue, and ob- served Beale-MacBeth making a left-hand turn onto Monroe Ave- nue without using a turn signal, according to the arrest report. When interviewed, Beale- MacBeth displayed signs of in- toxication, and was given a field- sobriety test, which she failed, the report says. After being taken into custody, police discov- ered an open 24-ounce container of Molson Ice beer in Beale- MacBeth's vehicle, which was taken into evidence, and she was released after making $1,000 bail, according to Guilderland Police. **** Stephen W. Jenkins, 30, of 90 Squire Ln., Clifton Park, was ticketed on March 8, at High- wood Circle and Western Ave- nue, for unlawful possession of marijuan, a violation, and illegal turn signal, failing to keep right, an infraction. Guilderland Po- lice say, Jenkins was stopped for making an unsafe lane change and failing to keep right, and, police smelled an odor of burned marijuana. According to the arrest report, Jenkins had just finished \smoking a marijuana bowl\ when he was pulled over, and he gave police voluntary consent to search his vehicle, which produced more marijuana and a marijuana pipe that was located inside of his vehicle. Jenkins was only charged with failing to signal properly and possession of marijuana at this time; his car was towed and the investigation will continue, the report says. Daniel M. Stealey, 30, of 4287 Western Turnpike, Altamont, was ticketed on March 18, at Lone Pine Road, for second- degree harassment, with physi- cal contact, a violation. Stealey pushed the complainant, ac- cording to Guildeuland-Boliee*- * Rashawd T. Cowan, 18, of Fallen Street, apartment 7, Troy, was ticketed on March 20, at Crossgates Mall, for tres- passing, a violation. Guilder- land Police say, Cowan and a co- defendant were observed by a Macy's loss-prevention officer entering Macy's through the employee door and then going in the employee locker-room area. Cowan and the co-defenda'nt were not recognized as employ- ees and when confronted they fled from security officers and a pursuit ensued, according the arrest report. Cowan was caught by security in the lower- level J.C. Penny parking lot and was treated by Guilderland Emergency Medical Services for respiratory issues related to a chest cold, the report says. **** Scott D. Webster, 41, of 6792 Westfall Rd., Altamont, was ar- rested on March 22, at his home, for third-degree assault with intent to cause physical injury, a misdemeanor. Webster was in- volved in a domestic dispute with the complainant at their home and did strike her in the face with a closed fist and caused her jaw and cheek area to swell and become discolored, according to the arrest report. The com- plainant was evaluated by a Guilderland Emergency Medical Services team at the scene and refused medical attention, the report says. Guilderland Police say, Webster left the scene prior to their arrival and that the ar- resting officer spoke to Webster during a cell phone conversation, in which he agreed to turn him- self in. **** Michael J. Yanni, 16, of 40 Lawn Ave., Albany, was arrested on March 16, at Crossgates Mall, for petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Guilderland Police say, Yanni was observed in Macy's taking one pair of Ecko jeans and one Ecko shirt, together valued at $110, and attempting to conceal them under his clothes and leave the store without paying for them. Florence E. Wong, 20, of 1727 Bleecker St., Queens, was ar- rested on March 16, at Cross- gates Mall, for petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Guilderland Po- lice say, Wong entered the H&M store, selected one beaded neck- lace, one blue-and-white T-shirt, and one pair of gold-colored ear- rings, valued at a total of $31.70, and attempted to conceal the merchandise in her cloth hand- bag. **** Everett G. Hallenbeck, 19, of 77 North Main Ave., apartment 2, Albany, was arrested on March 15, at Crossgates Mall, for fifth-degree criminal posses- sion of stolen property and petit larceny, both misdemeanors. Guilderland Police say, Hallen- beck, while employed at Dick's Sporting Goods, took merchan- dise, valued at about $300, from the store between January and March of 2006 without paying for it. When Hallenbeck was arrested by the store's loss- prevention officer, he was in pos- session of about $13 worth of stolen merchandise and was taken into custody without inci- dent, according to the arrest re- port. Jeffrey S. Reynolds, 18, of 39 Kinloch Ave., Troy, was arrested on March 15, at Crossgates Mall, for petite larceny, a misde- meanor. Guilderland Police say, Reynolds was observed by a Best Buy loss-prevention officer tak- ing a compact disc, valued at $13, and concealing it in his • sweatshirt. Susan M. Lenegar, 36, of 200 Spore Rd.) Delmar, was arrested on March 18, a t Johnston Road, for driving while intoxicated, first offense, and operating a motor vehicle with a blood- alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, both misdemeanors, and failing to keep right, an infrac- tion. Lenegar was stopped on Johnston Road, near the town line, for failing to keep right, and, when interviewed by police, she. displayed signs of intoxica- tion, according to the arrest re- port. Guilderland Police also say, a field-sobriety test was given, which Lenegar failed. **** Shawn A. VanPatten, 27, of 1064 Cutler St., Schenectady, was arrested on March 18, at Curry Road, for driving while intoxicated, first offense, and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .08 per- cent or greater, both misde- meanors, and for failing to stay in a single lane, an infraction. Guilderland Police say they stopped VanPatten because he drove over the white lane marking and almost went off of the roadway, and, when inter- viewed, he displayed signs of intoxication. VanPatten was given a field-sobriety test, which he failed, and a breathalyzer test revealed a blood-alcohol content of .14 percent, according to the arrest report. **** Nicholas L. Gulbrandsen, 25, of 1204 Oak Leaf Hill Dr., Guild- erland, was arrested on March 17, at Fletcher Road and West- ern Avenue, for driving while intoxicated, first offense, and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .08 per- cent or greater, both misde- meanors, and failing to obey traffic devices, an infraction. Gulbrandsen was observed driving west on Route 20, was stopped for crossing onto the shoulder of the road, and was displaying signs of intoxication when interviewed by police, ac- cording to the arrest report. Guilderland Police say, Gul- brandsen was given a field- sobriety test, which he failed, and a chemical test revealed a blood-alcohol content of .11 per- cent. **** James F. Garrett, 47, of 42 Andrea Court, Clifton Park, was arrested on March 16, at the Crossgates Mall Northway ramp, for driving while intoxi- cated, first offense, and operat- ing a motor vehicle with a blood- alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, both misdemeanors, and for use of an illegal turn signal. Garrett was pulled over by Guilderland Police for failing to signal a lane change when merging onto the Northway on- ramp, and, when interviewed by police, he displayed signs of in- toxication, according to the ar- rest report. Garrett failed the field-sobriety test given by police and a chemical test revealed a blood-alcohol content of .19 per- cent, the report says. Joseph A. Parker, 25, of 8 Fifth Street, Watervliet, was arrested on March 17, at a gas station on Western Avenue, for theft of services, a misdemeanor. Guilderland Police say, Parker took a cab ride from Watervliet to Fleigel Avenue in Guilder- land, and knowingly did not have money to pay for the cab fare, which Was $40. Parker was then taken by the Schenectady County Sheriffs Department for an outstanding warrant, and he was also wanted by the Rotter- dam Police, the arrest report says. ALBANY — Zachary Quick, 24, of 48 Quick Terrace, Feura Bush, pleaded guilty last Friday to two counts of third-degree burglary before Judge Thomas A. Breslin in Albany - County Court. According to the Albany County District Attorney's Of- fice, Quick admitted that, on Feb. 20 and 22, he broke into a home in Berne. In the first bur- glary, he stole three long rifles, and in the second burglary, he stole three more rifles, the dis- trict attorney's office says. Quick implicated himself while being interviewed about the burglaries by the Albany County Sheriffs Department, the district attorney's office says. According to the district attor- ney's office, Quick faces four- and-a-third to 13 years in prison. Samuel L. Rosen, 19, of 110 Benjamin St., Guilderland, Ste- ven R. Swider, 19, of 107 Stone Ridge Court, Altamont, and Joshua L. Vickers, 19, of 3126 Spawn Rd., Guilderland, were all arrested on March 13, on Spawn Road, for fifth-degree criminal possession of mari- juana, a misdemeanor. Vickers was pulled over by the Guilder- land Police because he was \acting suspiciously\ in an area of new construction on Timothy Lane and also because he failed to stop for a stop sign on Shave Road near Sunset Lane, accord- ing to the arrest report. When police interviewed Vickers, they smelled burned marijuana com- ing from inside the vehicle and Vickers admitted to \taking a couple of 'hits' off of a wooden pipe\ containing marijuana while in the vehicle, the report says. Guilderland Police say, Rosen and Swider were passen- gers in the car and were also found to have been smoking marijuana, and that police found a small bag containing mari- juana and a wooden pipe con- taining burned marijuana inside of the car. The three men \started smoking the marijuana just prior to the stop and showed minimal signs of impairment,\ according to the report. Phillip D. Walton, 22, of 12 Hampton Rd., Ballston Lake, was arrested on March 14, at Johnston Road, for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misde- meanor, and speeding, an infrac- tion. Walton was stopped by Guilderland Police for vehicle and traffic viola- tions after leaving a gas station, and a check with the state's De- partment of Motor Vehicle's re- vealed a suspended license from an alcohol-related incident, ac- cording to the arrest report. Walton also changed his version of the incident and withheld in- formation on several occasions during the investigation, the report says. John R. Wallace, 58, of 460 Main St., Guilderland Center, was ticketed on March 18, at Route 146, for trespassing, a violation. Wallace took wood from a property that was posted and then he returned the wood to the property and turned him- self in to Guilderland Police's custody, according to the arrest report. Stephen F. Scheiber, 57, of 276 Longhouse Ln., Slingerlands, was arrested on March 12, a t his home, for third-degree assault, recklessly causing physical in- jury, a misdemeanor. Guilder- land Police were called to a do- mestic dispute at Scheiber's home, where, during the course of the dispute, Scheiber inten- tionally pushed the complainant away from him, causing her to fall to the ground and sustain physical injury, according to the arrest report. The complainant's injury consisted of pain, bruis- ing, and swelling of her left an- kle as a result of the fall, and Scheiber was taken into police custody without incident, the report says. Donald J. Gendron, 20, of 140 East Turf, Clifton Park and Pi- erre Pooler, 20, of 203 D, Turf Community Park, Clifton Park, were both arrested on March 15, at Tower Place, for fifth-degree criminal possession of mari- juana, a misdemeanor. Guild- erland Police say, Gendron and Pooler were parked in the rear parking lot of the tower building behind Stuyvesant Plaza, and police smelled burned marijuana coming from inside of their vehi- cle. Both of the men admitted to smoking marijuana and a glass pipe containing burned mari- juana and a bag containing marijuana was given to officers by Gendron, according to the arrest report.
