The game is scheduled to get under way at approximately 8:45 P. M. at the Lackawanna High School gymnasium with the Junior Varsity contest precec-ding the main event. The \A\ League will open with the Hawks meeting the Blue Ribbons at 6:30; Phillips AC clashing with the Vets at 7:30; and the defending champion Glab Post taking the floor against the powerful Mo- hawks in the feature attraction at 8:30. Au. PURCHASES XMAS WRAPPED Coach John Pnnczykowski an- nounced that five veterans of last year's team will be back in the lineup. Two are graduates of the junior varsity while two have come out of nowhere to secure varsity berths without J.V. experience. The varsity will be lacking in height this year but Conch Pan- czykowski is confident that the ex- perience these boys have will more than offset their height disadvan- tage. Raiuun Again To Conch J.V. The squad has been.scrimmag—- ing with various basketball beams and have won two of the encoun- ters. All in all, it shapes up to be an excellent season tor the locals for the team is power packed and therefore this Friday's game should prove very interesting.
