The new $37,00a fire hall is one of the most beautiful and efficient in the whole norfh country. \ Leather Class Among the new courses estab lished in the adult education pro- gram, at Lowville academy and central school is one in leather- craft. The first class m the new course will be given next Mon- day. Students may attend either the Monday or Wednesday night class. Men and women who wish to take the course should contact the instructor, Frank Campbell, before Monday. If sufficient interest is shown a course in income tax reports may be arranged. 'Persons who are interested should phone jthe school. DRIVE CAREFUIXJr Airman Second Class Wilfred John Campany, 21, died early Monday from injuries sustained m a motorcycle\ accident near Tampa, Fla,, according to word received by his mother, Mrs Wil- liam A Campany, 34 Rural ave- nue. Airman Campany was attached to the 365th bomber squadron at MacDill air force base, Tampa Details of the accident are not known. The body was brought to the Virkler funeral home. Surviving hesides his mother, are two brothers, Howard W, Campany and Bernard A. Cam- pany, 'both at home, and three sisters, Mrs James (Doris) Smith, Glenfieldr Mrs. Frederick (Marie) Smith, Lowville, and Miss Mar- garet Campany, .at home. Airman Gampany was born at ^roghan June 9, 1932, son of Wil- liam and Anastasia Myers Cam- pany. He was graduated from the Lowville academy m 1951 and en listed in the air force Jan, 4, 1952 m Watertown. I I He took his basic training at Sampson air force base, Geneva, and was sent to Radio Mechanic school at Scott air base, 111 He was then transferred to Turner AF.B. in Georgia. Later, he attended Airplane Mechanic school at Amarilla air base, Tex. Upon graduation he was assigned as a mechanic on a jet bomber and transferred to MacDill AFB. He spent his last leave at home in July In October he went to England with his squadron on a training flight, returning to Flor- ida on Dec. 22. He was a communicant! of St. Peter's church and a former member of the Columbian Squires. The youth's father, William A. Campany, died in June, 1952.
