Charles Sulli­ van of Carthage w eream o n g more than 400 farm couples who attended a national term b u siness conference tn Honolulu, Hawaii, last week, sponsored by \F a r m Wife News\ m agazine. The conference consisted of special sem inars on term man­ agement techniques, goal setting and agrt-estate planning, plus fours of selected livestock and cropping f a c ilities. The term couples flew to and born Hawaii in giant 747 jumbo jets, and stayed a t the beautiful Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, located right on famous Waikiki Beach a t tee edge of tb e Pacific. The conference Included a mid-week flight to tee Island of Maui, where tee farm group toured the r e ­ search faculties o f a m ajor seed firm , and viewed no-tillage plots especially planted for the con­ ference to show no-tlfi crops in the growing stage. According to tee Sullivans, tem p e ratures w ere in tee high 70’s and low 60's for the e n tire week. Ju s t p r i o r to departure, a t tee end of the week-long con­ ference, the group toured Pearl Harbor and several m ore of Hawaii’s scenic s i t e s .
