RECENT INVENTION. 105 Recent $nt?entions. A Waterloo man has invented a duplex, adjustible, au.toma.tic, naultum in parvo safety device for the u se of young men traveling on the Geneva, Waterloo, Seneca Falls and Cayuga Lake Railroad. It consists of a. set o f clamps fitting into slots in a turbine which throws an eccentric into gear and secures the victim to h is seat until the car has passed through 'Waterloo. A Hobart man has patented an ingenious device for the prevention o f cruelty to indolent Freshmen. It may be converted into a weed pulleir, water carrier or baseball chaser b y a simple arrangement o f pistons -winch connect with the diaphragm of the incubator. The contact of the logarithm with the reversible sprocket completes the circuit. $ C o l l e g e C o u r s e .
